A used press is used to shape or shear a workpiece by pressing it in a tool consisting out of a punch and a die. The shape of the workpiece is changed by applying hydraulic, mechanical or pneumatic. Used presses has various functions including forging, stamping, plate bending, punching, etc. Used mechanical presses are also known as eccentric presses or power presses. Used eccentric presses are driven by a rotating flywheel which generates enough momentum to move the ram downward on a cam applying the necessary force to the workpiece.
